If you are interested in the local history and the multiple missions of the Brazos Heritage Society, or know someone who is, please consider submitting a nomination for the Executive Committee. Historic Photos Needed

Do you have old photographs of Bryan, College Station, or the rural districts of Brazos County. If so, please consider sending us a copy (or allowing us to scan a copy). We plan to start a new section on this website called Then and Now, which will display old photographs beside a modern photograph taken from the same spot. We are particularly interested in photographs of identifiable locations that have undergone significant change. For example, a photograph of the intersection of Texas Avenue and Villa Maria in 1950 would be most interesting.

Do you own a historic home in the Brazos Valley? Are you willing to open it to the public? If so, please contact Ulrike Smith through the contact us link on this page. Proceeds from historic home tours are a major source of revenue for the Heritage Society and permit us to continue with our education and preservation projects.
