Coulter House
The Coulter stands alone on a single block on 24th Street, just west of Texas Avenue. It is generally believed to be the oldest house in Bryan, and perhaps in Brazos County. Twenty-fourth street is older than the city of Bryan and follows the route of the old road from Boonville to the Brazos River crossing. This is why Bryan's block numbers begin at the intersection of 24th and Main.
